History
There was no Government Secondary school anywhere in Ashanti even up to 1945. Boys and girls of this region whose parents could afford the cost of secondary schools.This meant that members of the catholic church who wished to have their children educated in accordance with catholic traditions had to send them to St. Augustine's college or Holy child college, both in cape coast. The need o a catholic secondary school was therefore greatly felt both by the clergy and laity of the Catholic Church.

ImageA sound mind, they say, lives in a sound body. It is out of this belief that “the school” has always encouraged active participation of students in activities that promote healthy bodies, especially in sports.
It was thus a great inconvenience when the basketball court was demolished to give way to a training pitch, in preparation for the Cup of African nation’s tournament, which took place in Ghana in February 2008.
